Signs often ask us to KEEP OFF THE GRASS and instruct us to NOT TOUCH. However, like grass, some art can be a place to explore, play, reconnect, let off steam, exercise your dog, meet people, act under an alternative set of social rules of conduct, have a picnic, kiss your girlfriend, follow people around, watch and overhear conversations. Grass as an object to be looked at seems pointless beyond temporary aesthetic pleasure. Grass to be used holds much more potential.

Stoicing: stoic stalking. We want to meet the Artist Neighbour, but we are afraid to introduce ourselves. It is too late. We must live in curiosity, and maybe that's for the best. We watch from a dark room and take a flash photo.
YES SIR I CAN BOOGIE- PLYMOUTH ART CENTRE- 19/10/14
We stood near an art library and read into a microphone in turn for five hours. YES SIR I CAN BOOGIE. I read the comments on a Guardian article about Casey Jenkins' vaginal knitting piece 'Casting Off My Womb'. Later I read some lesson plans from a book about Art Teaching, a chapter about artists working in groups and some poems about dogs. We were a radio, continuously playing away in the corner to itself and anyone who cared to hear.

Arguably the most successful and widely spoken of work at The "Bad" "Art" "Show" (May 2014), this piece has been recognised by the artist as "one of the best things I ever did". Since its elusive single appearance, we have compiled a short feature which we feel encapsulates this masterpiece for those unfortunate enough not to have experienced it in person.

What and where is the work? How does it exist?
Events, actions, not usually in object/ form (you can't hold it), you can see it if you look in the right way, you might be able to interact with it, one day I might even be able to earn money from doing it. I can invite people to it, I can tell you about it, you can encounter it.
I can describe it in writing; that is another element of the work.
I can film and photograph it; that is another element of the work.

"Bad" "Art" Cinema listing (I'm using a cinema format to jumble areas of Western culture that wouldn't usually rub shoulders. The internet is mashing up culture, and the division between high and low art/ culture is becoming blurred. And who's to say what's high and low anyway?) This list is in categories to make it easier for me to mix them evenly throughout the event.
